No one has reported any SDRs with the new Rafael Micro R860 chipset so far with the web searches I have done, but Airspy does advertise it on their website. The only difference is the Rafael Micro R820T2 vs the new Rafael Micro R860 chipset is said to be the same. I did take my case off to find that the Airspy R2 was made in August 2015 with the Rafael Micro R820T2 chipset, but was hoping to get a newer model. My Airspy R2 would recognize the USB 3.0 slot one time and the next time would not.

I only have one USB 2.0 slot so this is fine for now, but it would be great for Airspy to update their USB drivers to support USB 3.0 slots better than currently. The Airspy R2 is a lot better than the cheap SDR dongles that I have, but is buggy using USB 3.0 slots.
